TunerBench ("we", "us") operates the website tuner-bench.com, a collection of free automotive calculators. This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use the site.
Every calculator on TunerBench runs entirely in your web browser. The numbers you enter - tire sizes, horsepower targets, engine specifications - are never transmitted to our servers, stored, or shared. There are no user accounts, and we do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, or other personal information.
One exception: the VIN Decoder sends the VIN you enter to the U.S. government's public NHTSA vPIC service to retrieve vehicle specifications. The VIN is sent directly from your browser to NHTSA; TunerBench does not store, log, or receive it. NHTSA's handling of queries is governed by its own federal privacy policies.
Shareable log reports: the Datalog Analyzer can create a share link for an analyzed log. If you use it, the graded summary (letter grades, key numbers, and a small boost curve) is packed into the link itself. Nothing is uploaded to us or stored on any server, and your raw CSV file never leaves your browser. Anyone you send the link to can read that summary, so treat the link like you would a screenshot of your results.
If you use My Garage or the Fuel Log, those features save the information you enter in your browser's local storage so it is available on your next visit. That information stays on your device and can be removed by clearing the saved vehicle, deleting fuel entries, or clearing this site's browser data.
TunerBench is not currently serving personalized advertising or setting advertising cookies. If we add sponsorships, affiliate links, or advertising later, paid relationships will be clearly identified and this policy will be updated before any new tracking or cookie use begins.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic and performance, including page views, referring sites, general location and device categories, and web performance measurements. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for analytics and does not track visitors across websites.
We do not configure custom analytics events or send calculator entries, Learn search terms, raw log files, saved Garage or Fuel Log information, or VIN values to analytics. URL query strings are not recorded by Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare's handling of this aggregate traffic data is described in its privacy policy.
TunerBench does not currently set cookies. Browser local storage used by My Garage and the Fuel Log is described above and is not sent to us. If a future feature requires cookies, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before that feature launches.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
